Summary and Objective

The Line Service Technician maintains a high-degree of safety and customer satisfaction by providing front-line customer service through aircraft and facility support.

Essential functions

• Perform both public and non-public contact with crew members, pilots, and passengers.
• Load and unload luggage, golf clubs, and some freight.
• Clean, marshal, and push back aircraft by tug and/or hand.
• Operate motor vehicles including various fuel trucks with high cabins, shuttle van, golf cart and aircraft tugs.
• Fuel aircraft in a safe and efficient manner
• Haul equipment as necessary to clean and/or maintain aircraft.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of safety and compliance related protocols.
• Assist with all operational aspects of the fixed base operation and non-safety sensitive operations in the hangar.
• Grounds maintenance, cutting grass and trash disposal.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by the Customer Service Agent Supervisor, Manager of Fixed Base Operations, or higher authority.

• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.

• Job Location: Crystal Coast Aviation, Beaufort, NC
• Mostly outdoor and industrial/hangar environment
• Exposure to loud noises including but not limited to airplane machinery and jet engines.
