Overview

Carpe (mycarpe.com) is an extremely fast-growing brand of sweat products launched by co-founders David Spratte and Kasper Kubica in 2015. Millions of people are finding Carpe’s total body sweat solutions to be unique and effective, and many describe the products as “absolutely life-changing.”

We're looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to help us reach our ambitious growth goals and join our team based in Durham, North Carolina. Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing, we are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Graphic Designer to bring Carpe’s visual identity to life.

This role demands an extreme attention to detail, a passion for extraordinary visual design, and an obsession with coming up with new ideas. The ideal candidate is highly creative and self-motivated, has a strong understanding for what makes a high performing static ad, works fast and hard, and thrives in a creative, fun-loving team environment. UI/UX and AI experience or interest is a plus!

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Creative Concept Development – Develop and design visually compelling, high-converting static and animated assets for the entire Carpe brand across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Amazon, and more.
  • Production-Ready Deliverables – Translate creative layouts and ideas into production-ready deliverables, adhering to project timelines and requirements.
  • Content Strategy – Collaborate with the performance marketing team to create and implement content strategies aligned with campaign objectives and target customer pain points, ensuring designs are both creative and effective.
  • Brand Consistency – Own the quality of all creative assets across the Carpe brand, ensuring they are in line with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all channels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with other marketing team members, including our Email/SMS Retention Marketer, Script Writer, and Video Editor to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
  • Trend Analysis Stay up-to-date with social media trends, other DTC brands, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms (especially AI) to ensure our content remains relevant and impactful.
  • A/B Testing – Develop and execute A/B tests to determine the most effective messaging, formats, and creative elements.
  • Reporting Provide regular reports on creative performance, insights, and recommendations for future campaigns.

Requirements
