Job Summary
The Executive Director of AI Products leads the vision, strategy, and development of Labcorp’s AI and machine learning products. This role connects advanced technology with real-world healthcare impact—delivering tools that transform clinical trials, diagnostics, and drug development. You’ll play a key role in shaping how Labcorp uses intelligent technologies to improve health outcomes, working at the intersection of data science, software innovation, and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
AI Product Strategy & Leadership
Define and lead the roadmap for AI and data products that align with Labcorp’s broader goals and healthcare mission.
Manage the full product lifecycle—from idea to launch to continuous improvement.
Introduce and scale innovative AI technologies that drive better insights and outcomes.
Lead initiatives in areas such as personalized medicine, real-time data analytics, and predictive modeling.
Market & Customer Intelligence
Research markets, competitors, and customer needs to guide product direction.
Build relationships with clients, partners, and domain experts to uncover opportunities and refine solutions.
Use data and performance metrics to measure success and prioritize product enhancements.
Technology Leadership & Innovation
Evaluate the business impact and technical feasibility of new product ideas, including model design, data pipelines, and deployment at scale.
Experiment with new technologies and approaches to stay ahead of industry trends.
Ensure all products meet regulatory and ethical AI standards (FDA, GxP, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
Partner with data science, UX, and engineering teams to prototype and scale AI-powered solutions.
Collaborate with transformation and strategy leaders to align product work with enterprise innovation efforts.
Leadership & Culture
Build and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, analysts, and technical product owners.
Create an environment focused on learning, creativity, and collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
12+ years in product management, analytics, or AI/ML, including at least 6+ years in life sciences, clinical, or healthcare software.
7+ years leading cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise-scale software.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or MBA in Business, Data Science, Product Management, or a related field.
Experience working in a startup or high-growth tech environment.
Skills & Competencies
Proven experience managing full product lifecycles and driving measurable business impact.
Strong technical understanding of AI/ML, data engineering, or software development.
Experience integrating AI into regulated environments such as clinical trials or diagnostics.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and strategic leadership skills.
Working Conditions
Hybrid and flexible work arrangements, with preference for candidates near Labcorp’s engineering, innovation, or research hubs.

Pay Range: $200-300k
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers. Compensation may also include discretionary short- and long-term incentive packages.
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
